Robert Santiago, M.D.

Dr. Robert Santiago is a Board-Certified physician in both Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care Medicine, providing comprehensive medical care in Central Ohio since 1988. He earned his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 1985 and completed his Emergency Medicine residency in 1988. After relocating to Ohio, Dr. Santiago initially practiced Emergency Medicine before transitioning to Family Medicine, where he continues to make a lasting impact.

Currently, Dr. Santiago maintains a thriving family practice in Galion, OH, with a specialized focus on diabetic management, wound care, and Veteran evaluations. He has also served as a Workers’ Compensation Physician of Record (POR) since 1992 and is one of the few Spanish-speaking PORs in Central Ohio, providing essential care to a diverse patient population.

Dr. Santiago resides in Central Ohio with his wife, Dianne. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife and their three sons. An avid reader, Dr. Santiago has an exceptional passion for art, history, civilization, and automobiles, making him a well-rounded and knowledgeable individual both inside and outside the medical field.
